Being Quality Assured as a BS EN ISO 9001:2000 company, and being members of the "Federation of Small Business", "Chamber of Commerce" and the "Freight Transport Association", Southerns take great pride in the quality of service that we provide and in the continual improvements we strive for in the industry.

We take our environmental impact very seriously; therefore, we try to select manufacturers that are EMAS or ISO 14001 FSC Accredited for Environmental compliance.

Operating from our site in Bolton, Southerns provide a sales and distribution service for Office Interiors and Furniture throughout the United Kingdom. By dedicating ourselves to an ethos of "Total Service", we have built an enviable record of satisfied customers both large and small, local government, private sector and including further education through to higher education.

We employ over a dozen Account Managers offering "on site" representation and they are fully supported by Sales Co-ordinators, Administration staff, Distribution personnel and Senior Management. In addition, our own distribution fleet of twenty plus vehicles takes care of ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

Since 1987, the company has successfully tendered competitively and been awarded framework contracts for the supply and installation of office furniture to 8 local authorities, including Fire and Police services.

In 2004 the Company was successful in being retained on that contract for a further 3 years with a 2 year renewal option. We pride ourselves on our service standards and endeavor to continually improve and believe that this, coupled with our competitive prices, have been instrumental in us holding our strong position in the marketplace for over 20 years.

In 2004/2005, Southerns Office Interiors successfully tendered and undertook a £2.3 million supply, delivery and installation contract to furnish 17 new Police Stations in Greater Manchester. All Stations were delivered on time, all to the client's specification.

More recently, Southerns managed to win a contract to the NWUPC and CPC consortiums for the supply of Office Furniture to universities and colleges.
